About Mark Logan
Former Member of Parliament, Public Affairs Consultant, International Affairs specialist and media commentator
Mark Logan was born in County Antrim, UK in 1984. Mark attended Ballymena Academy, going on to gain qualifications from Queens University Belfast, LSE, University of Oxford, Peking University and Jiaotong University.
Mark served as Chief Spokesman to the British Consulate-General Shanghai (Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office), as well as Olympic and Paralympic Attaché to the Embassy in Beijing during the 2008 Summer Olympics.
In the private sector Mark was recruited to Head up the international engagement of a leading Asian multinational company, and subsequently became Country Marketing Manager for one of Silicon Valley’s leading consultancies. Earlier in his career Mark was a founding member of an education startup.
Having been unsuccessful in contesting a parliamentary election in 2017, Mark was second time lucky in winning Bolton North East in the United Kingdom’s 2019 General Election.
