Supporting University students in their international career journeys
East Asia specialist, Mark Logan, has been selected as a mentor for the prestigious University of Limerick and Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce (IJCC) Mentorship Programme for the 2025-2026 academic year.
This initiative connects final-year Japanese language students with experienced professionals who can offer valuable insights into international career opportunities, particularly those involving Japan.
As a mentor Mark will provide one-to-one guidance to carefully matched students, sharing industry expertise and professional experiences throughout the academic year. The programme's student-led approach encourages mentees to take ownership of their professional development while benefiting from tailored support.
As a former Vice-Chair for the International Students All Party Parliamentary Group, as well as the Universities APPG, Mark's participation in this programme reflects his commitment to fostering the next generation of internationally-minded professionals and strengthening Ireland-Japan business and cultural connections.
