Almost 2 billion spotify streams - Gavin James - plays first ever Japan concert
Gavin James, a native of Dublin, played a special intimate concert in Tokyo on what was his first ever performance in Japan’s capital.
With almost 2 billion total streams on Spotify the Irish singer-songwriter was undoubtedly a hit on his first ever concert in Japan.
It was a tour de force as Gavin took the audience through some of his biggest hits including Always, Nervous, Boxes and Tired, and even at one point he teased the audience with a Coldplay cover.
Following the concert and on meeting both Gavin and the warmup act for the night JaXson, Mark commented:
“It was a special evening of music in Tokyo, and it was great to see these Irish acts being received with such enthusiasm, with every song moving the fanbase to lip-sync along”.
Gavin has played with mega acts such as Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran, and is closing in on a total of 2 billion streams on Spotify.
Tokyo has a world class music scene, and Logan has government experience in promoting the diverse talent and many businesses connected with the creative industries.
